Out With The Pony Tail In With The Knot
For ages the pony tail has been a classic style during fall. Fall of 2016 put this style into a temporary retirement. Instead of using a pony tail many women are tying their hair up in a knot. This trend leaves your hair looking managed and fashionably messy at the same time. There are a variety of different knot styles you can use so that your hair can be changed up regularly. You can even double knot your hair if it is long enough.
Wear it Wavy
Hair straighteners have been a fall trend but this year wavy hair has taken a popular turn. Many people have naturally wavy hair or gain wavy hair from sleeping in hair styles. For fall of 2016 not only has it been popular to leave your hair wavy but people have been purposefully making their hair wavy. Anna Sui and Orlando Pita are both examples of big names that have purposefully worn their hair wavy this season.
Wear the Hair Jewelry
Bows and ribbons have been added to hair in recent years, this season women are returning to the old hair style of adding hair jewelry. Whether it be a fine ribbon that wraps around a majority of the head, a tiara, a fancy clip, or multiple pieces of little jewelry, they have been gaining popularity. Many people have even going out and finding antiques to wear in their hair.
Tie It Down
While the pony tail has gone out of style for the season, tying your hair down has come into fashion. In fall 2016, it is time to get ribbons and cloth and tie your hair behind your head. For some people this is a few times around and a fancy knot. For others they are wrapping the ties multiple times around their hair.
